The AMSOIL Duluth National is wrapping up with the AMSOIL semi-pro stock class and the action is as exciting as the first race of the weekend.
After having a fuel intake problem in the mod sleds for most of the weekend, the Scheuring Speed Sports team found the gremlin and fixed the problem in time for the final on Sunday afternoon. Shaun Crapo, the top qualifier, got a great start and finished the race in second. That put the first year AMSOIL rider into this year's Winter X games in Aspen, Colo. Teammate DJ Eckstrom also ran strong, finishing seventh in his final. Eckstrom will have to qualify next weeknd for Winter X at the qualifier at Park X in Hill City, Minn.
The next national is the Michigan National in Gaylord, Mich. on December 12.
A great weekend all around for AMSOIL has the company continued to showcase its exceptional products on a national racing stage.
