Windham Back On Top

Team AMSOIL Supercross rider Kevin Windham likes racing in Seattle, Wash. The elder statesman of the AMA Supercross Series won his last race in 2008 in Seattle, and repeated the feat this past Saturday night.

Windham was determined to return to the winner’s circle. On a night where the track was extremely technical and rough due to rain throughout the week, the veteran rider grabbed the holeshot and never looked bac, leading all 20 laps of the main event.

Even though Ryan Dungy wrapped up the Supercross title in Seattle, Windham can still finish second overall as he just 18 points behind Ryan Villopoto with two rounds left. The GEICO Powersports/AMSOIL team will race this weekend in Salt Lake City.

Until then, we'll see you at the races.
