Martin has been on the podium in every AMSOIL Pro Open race this season, an incredible feat in a class loaded with talent. The Judnick Motorsports rider finished second in the open class in Hayward.

Martin also won both Pro Stock heats and the final in Hayward last weekend. This narrows the gap between him and points leader Tim Trembley as Martin sits second in Pro Stock points.

Scheuring Speed Sports riders Robbie Malinoski and Andrew Johnstad fought of physical battles with some opponents in 
Hayward. Johnstad was landed on during one of his heat races and Malinoski was punted from the track in a separate altercation. Malinoski finished fifth in Pro Open and Johnstad came across the line in eighth. Both riders had mechanical problems in Pro Stock.
