After a very successful run in the Pro Light class, Team AMSOIL off road racer Chad Hord is moving up to the faster Pro 2wd class.
Hord will join AMSOIL/BFG Tires driver Mike Oberg in one of the premier class of the Traxxas Off Road Championship presented by AMSOIL. (Scott Douglas will still be driving the Pro 4x4 in TORC). Here's a look at the new truck from one of Hord's early season test sessions.
TORC has also added a new event to their 2010 schedule. TORC will race at Chicagoland Speedway August 25-26 in conjunction with the weekend of racing for the NASCAR Camping World Truck race and the IZOD IndyCar Series. (Read more about Chicagoland Event).
The 2010 TORC series kicks off May 1-2 in Tucson, Ariz.
