The three-time AMSOIL World Champion grabbed the hole shot at
the WSA Pro Ice race last weekend. From there he battled back and forth with eventual winner Dustin Wahl. Wanderscheid finished second in the first big oval ice race of the year.Wanderscheid is looking to become the first man to win four AMSOIL Eagle River World Championships. The event will be held January 14-17 at the AMSOIL Eagle River Derby Track in Eagle River, Wis.
