The 2008 racing season has come to an end for the AMSOIL sponsored Big Dawg/TailGator team and Doug Noelke finished off another successful year.
Noelke was crowned the Monster National racing champion for 2008. He competed in 30 multiple-show events this year, a little over half of those with both trucks. Even thought the racing season is over, the work has just begun. The Big Dawg chassis is undergoing a major overhaul. The chassis was totally stripped, reinforced, sandblasted and painted. The engine has been disassembled and is currently being "freshened up." Noelke will begin to reassemble the truck to get it together for the first show on January 9-10 in Huntington, W.V. The TailGator chassis is undergoing some minor changes, including adding wheel tethers. The first show for TailGator is also Huntington, W.V. on the Monster Nationals Tour.
