CORR Live on NBC and SPEED This Weekend

Scott Douglas timed in second quick in the CORR Pro-4 class while Pro Lite driver Chad Hord turned the fourth fastest time in Chula Vista, Calif. on Friday. Those two AMSOIL Super Team drivers will both start towards the front for Satuday's live telecast on SPEED.

Douglas, the AMSOIL Pro04 Super Team driver picked up three championship points with his second fastest qualifying time on Friday. That puts him just six points out from the overall lead heading into this weekends racing.

This marks a double live weekend for Championship Off Road Racing. The live SPEED telecast begins at 6:00 p.m. EST tonight. On Sunday. NBC will host its first live CORR race of the year with coverage beginning at 3:00 p.m. EST.

"This weekend marks an important milestone for CORR. For the first time, both days of racing will be broadcast live on network television," said Deanne Vernengo, CORR's Broadcast Director. "We are thrilled to bring CORR fans high-definition racing in real time from the home of off road racing, San Diego, CA."

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Racing action begins at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available online at www.corracing.com as well as onsite, at the event.

The Chula Vista International Raceway is a purpose-built facility, located in southeast Chula Vista. Built in a working rock quarry, the Chula Vista International Raceway offers a challenging surface for drivers and provides a stunning backdrop for fans. The track includes major elevation changes and areas where driving skill are rewarded.
