Team AMSOIL Weekend of Racing

It should be a great weekend of racing for Team AMSOIL. A majority of our summer race teams are back in action, including a surprise visit from Super Team members Scott Douglas and Mike Oberg at Crandon International Raceway in Crandon, Wis.

Oberg, Douglas and Pro Lite driver Chad Hord will all be racing at the Big House this weekend as the WSORR heads to Crandon for its third and fourth rounds as well as the annual Brush Run race that pits Pro 2 vs Pro 4. Oberg finished second last year and Douglas is looking for his first win in that event. Racing will take place all day Saturday and Sunday.

Terry Rinker will be looking for his first win of the year in Bay City, Mich. The F1 ChampBoat Series heads to the Bay City River Roar for its second weekend of racing in 2008. Rinker finsihed 9th in the first round after a battery issue pushed him into the pits after he was leading the race. Rinker is a three time ChampBoat series champion. AMSOIL is also the Official Oil of ChampBoat.

Brad and Roger Lovell want to keep their winning streak going this weekend in Cedar City, Utah. Round three of the We-Rock nationals will be held on Sunday.

Sudden Impact Monster will bring its monster trucks to Richmond, Va. Friday through Sunday and Brady Smith will drive his late model at three Midwest tracks this weekend, including Farmer City, Ill., I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Mo. and Vermillion County Speedway in Danville, Ill. on Sunday.

Until then, we'll see you at the races.
