Poor weather and track conditions postponed the second AMSOIL Late Model Series on June 10 in Hibbing, Minn. Now, the second leg of the six-race series will be held on Saturday June 28 at the Hibbing Raceway, just one night before the third race of the series at the Proctor Speedway in Proctor, Minn.
The series began at the Superior Speedway on Friday May 23, with Steve Laursen dominating the event to take the early series points lead. The nine-week series will also make another stop in Superior, Hibbing and at the ABC Raceway in Ashland, Wis. will wrap up on Saturday, July 26 at the Hibbing Raceway with a $17,000 payout.

Darrell Nelson of Hermantown, MN won the AMSOIL Late Model Series in 2007. With the Superior Speedway returning to the WISSOTA AMSOIL Dirt Track Series, the AMSOIL Late Model Series will run under WISSOTA rules. AMSOIL is the title sponsor and Official Oil of WISSOTA and the AMSOIL Dirt Track Series. AMSOIL will be working with media partner Fox 21.
