Wanderscheid headed to Manitoba for the opening weekend of racing and Iowa this past Saturday and Sunday for the Oval Racers Alliance season opener. In Manitoba, Wanderscheid finished fourth overall.Iowa proved more successful for the three-time world champion as he entered the final as the number three qualifier and proceeded to lead the main from flag to flag.
Up next for Wanderscheid will be the USSA season opener in Amherst, Wis. January 1-2. The AMSOIL World Championship Snowmobile Derby is scheduled for January 13-16 in Eagle River, Wis.
