Windham Strong In St. Louis

Team AMSOIL supercross rider Kevin Windham has found some consistency in the AMA Supercross Series as the circuit travels into its second half of racing. After picking up his first podium finish of 2007 two weeks ago in San Diego, it appears that KDub is once again competing at the high level his fans have grown accustomed to.

This week, the AMSOIL sponsored team continued its East Coast swing in St. Louis. Windham was riding strong all weekend long. He finished third in his heat race and took home a solid fourth place finish in the main. Teammate Travis Preston finished fifth in his heat race, but was unable to finish the main and finished 21st.

In the "Lites" class, Ryan Sipes and Billy Laninovich continued their East Coast series with moderate success in St. Louis. Sipes finished fourth in his heat race and 8th in the main. Laninovich finished 5th in his qualifier and 14th in the final.
The AMA Supercross series will air on SPEED Channel next Saturday. The series moves to Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla. this weekend.
Until then, see you at the races,
